Beautiful British flowers – grown at home – no chemicals – not flown around the world
A few years ago I decided to copy my neighbour and grow a couple of rows of Zinnia for cut flowers in the house. I grew more varieties the next year and so on until I realised that I was really enjoying selecting flowers for each arrangement. Thus, my passion grew until a seed of an idea started to niggle at me and I began to wonder if I could actually ‘do flowers’ on a grander scale. I started to grow more and more until the old veggie patch had disappeared and butterflies and bees took up residence.
I am not professionally trained but I just love what I do and I hope that shows in the style of my work. Everything that goes into my flower arrangements has been picked from my cutting patch and garden.
My season starts in the Spring, depending on the weather, with amazing narcissi, tulips, anemones and ranunculus. Summer sees the cutting patch vibrant with life – cosmos, zinnia, scabiosa, snapdragon and so much more. Chrysanthemums are at their best in Autumn with fabulous dahlias and rudbeckia still going strong. If the weather is kind I can have flowers right through to November.
Hand tied arrangements are perfect for gifts or just to say ‘I’m thinking of you’.
I have started to supply regular ‘house flowers’ to my friends and colleagues which is a wonderful way of bringing happiness into your home. Fresh yummy flowers every week, fortnight or once a month is food for the soul.
Why not give a regular delivery of flower awesomeness as a gift?
As well as hand tied, I am happy to do other arrangements – perfect for a dinner party or special occasion.
I supply stems for arranging yourself at home and also to florists.
Take a look at the Gallery for a taste of my gorgeous flowers.
Please get in touch if you would like to talk about flowers – I can talk about flowers for ever…..
